This is my first entry into my Design Studio blog. This semester I am in Design Studio IV...we are going into the fourth week of the semester and we are working on designing an Auditorium with radio and tv station for a charter middle/high school on the west side of Chicago. The project totals over 12000 square feet and has a lot of potential.
This semester is a little different because we are working in teams. My Team is amazing! We are not perfect and we do argue at times, but everyone is so open and willing and wants to do the best possible! I am so thankful for them and am lucky becasue there is noooo drama between us.
Anyways, like I said we are going into the fourth week and I'm interested to see what will happen with this project. I am not so sure how much I like doing theaters at this point...I don't know enough about them yet, but I'm feeling like they are not quite my fortay.To be perfectly honest I am getting a little nervous and anxious about the project...I feel like everything is very chaotic and disorganized. I am nervous that everything is going to be crammed towards the end and that its not going to have the time to be as good as it could be. However, I am trying to keep myself positive and hopefully I will feel a little more at ease after our visit to the school tomorrow.
